Gujarat records 1091 new cases of Covid-19

Gujarat recorded 1091 new Covid cases during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate has reached up to 88.68 percent. 

Number of new cases detected in Gujarat  dropped below the 1100 mark. Total 1 lakh 41 thousand 652 patients recovered from Covid19 till now. 1233 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. More than 53 lakh 74 thousand tests have been carried out in the state till date.  Maximum 239 new cases



reported from Surat, while Ahmedabad recorded 183 new cases.

 

At present total active cases in the state are 14436, out of which 74 patients are on ventilator. 9 patients died yesterday taking the total deaths due to Covid19 up to 3638. Meanwhile, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has added 7 new areas in the micro containment zone following detection of new cases.
