Gujarat records 12,820 new Covid-19 cases

Gujarat has recorded 12,820 new cases of Covid19 yesterday. 11,999 patients recovered during the last 24 hours and were discharged from the hospitals. The new cases of Covid19 are decreasing slowly. Similarly, the number of patients recovering from the Covid19 is also increasing. 

Maximum 4616 new cases reported from Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 1309 new cases. 140 patients lost their lives yesterday. Gujarat has



now 1 lakh 47 thousand 499 active cases at present, out of which 747 patients are on ventilator.

 

Meanwhile, 1 lakh 41 thousand 843 persons were vaccinated in the state yesterday. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has suspended the vaccination of 45 plus age group in the city from today. According to the release, it will start again after the arrival of a new stock of vaccines.
