Gujarat records 7,476 new Covid-19 cases

Ahmedabad: Gujarat has reported 7476 new cases of Covid-19 during the last 24 hours. The maximum 2861 new cases were recorded in Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 1988 new cases. The state has 37,238 active cases at present, out of these 34 patients are on ventilator support. More than 3 lakh doses of vaccine were administered in Gujarat yesterday. The total number of doses of vaccines administered



in the state till now has crossed 9 crore 38 lakh mark.

Meanwhile, Gujarat government has reduced the maximum limit of the people in political, social, cultural, educational, or religious gatherings from 400 to 150. This limit is also applicable to wedding functions. These new restrictions will be in force from today.
