Gujarat records 9941 new Covid-19 cases

Ahmedabad: Gujarat has reported 9941 new cases of Covid-19 infections during the last 24 hours. According to the state health department, the maximum 3843 new cases were recorded in Ahmedabad, while Surat recorded 2505 new cases. The state has 43726 active cases at present, out of these 51 patients are on ventilator support.

 

More than 3 lakh doses of



vaccine were administered in Gujarat yesterday. The total number of doses of vaccines administered in the state till now has crossed 9 crore 41 lakh mark. Meanwhile, Ahmedabad Municipal corporation has declared 18 new micro containment zones yesterday. At present, Ahmedabad has 180 active micro containment zones.
