Gujarat reports 1,087 new positive cases of COVID-19

The number of coronavirus cases in Gujarat rose to 76,569 on Friday with 1,087 new patients being reported since previous evening, the health department said. Fifteen coronavirus patients died during this period in the state, taking the death toll to 2,748, it said. 1,071 patients were



discharged from different hospitals in the state, taking the total of recovered cases to 59,522. 

Gujarat coronavirus figures are as follows: Total cases 76,569, new cases 1,087, total deaths 2,748, discharged 59,522, active cases 14,299 and people tested so far 12,11,047.
