Gujarat reports 204 new Coronavirus cases

Ahmedabad: Gujarat has reported 204 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday. Out of these, 24 cases belong to the Omicron variant. The number of active Covid cases in the state has crossed one thousand mark. The number of new cases of Covid19 infection have crossed 200 mark, first time after the gap of six months. According to the state health department, 24 new cases have been identified as Omicron variants.

State has gone up to 73.

Out of these, 56 patients are in hospitals while 17 patients recovered and discharged from the hospitals. No death has been reported due to the Omicron variant in the state till now.

Meanwhile, more than 4 lakh doses of vaccine have been administered in the state yesterday. Total number of doses of vaccine administered in the state have crossed 8 crore 85 lakhs till date.
