Gujarat reports 2,521 fresh Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours

In Gujarat, a total of 2,521 new Covid 19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours. State health department said 7,965 patients recovered in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate in the state stands at 93.36 per cent. 27 patients died due to Covid 19 yesterday. At present there are 43,611 active cases in the



state.

Ahmedabad city recorded 336 new cases yesterday which is the highest in the state. Vadodara city reported 308 cases whereas 228 cases were registered in Surat city. As many as 2.36 lakh people were administered vaccines yesterday. So far, over 1.65 crore people have been vaccinated in the state.
