Gujarat reports 278 fresh coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

In Gujarat, 278 fresh coronavirus cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. At the same time, a total of 273 people were discharged during the day. With this, the number of recoveries in the state has gone up to 2 lakh 59 thousand 928. Nearly 3 thousand 18 healthcare and frontline workers received  vaccine doses



yesterday. 

Health officials said Rajkot Municipal corporation is leading in the state by completing 99 percent vaccination of health and frontline workers. Over 8 lakh 5 thousand beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far in the state.

The state now has around 1,700 active COVID-19 cases.
