India logs 514 new Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths

India recorded a single-day rise of 514 Covid-19 cases and three deaths in a span of 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday.

The active caseload continued to see a downward trend, with the tally at



3,643 from 3,422 the previous day, the data updated at 8 am stated.

Of the three fatalities reported, two were from Maharashtra and one from Karnataka, pushing the total death toll to 5,33,409, the ministry said.
