India reports 761 new Covid-19 cases, 12 deaths

India recorded a single-day rise of 761 Covid-19 infections and 12 deaths in the past 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Friday.

The active caseload further dipped to 4,334 from 4,423 the previous day, the



ministry data updated at 8 am stated.

Of the 12 fatalities, Kerala reported five deaths, four in Karnataka, two in Maharashtra and one in Uttar Pradesh, pushing the death toll to 5,33,385, according to the health ministry.
