India's comprehensive actions resulted in a low mortality rate: Health Ministry

Government today said that India's comprehensive and calibrated actions within the umbrella strategy of 'Test, Track and Treat' have resulted in a low mortality rate.

In a tweet, the Union Health Ministry said, sustained efforts



through early diagnosis, timely and effective treatment continue to steadily push the Case Fatality Rate down. Currently, India’s Case Fatality Rate is at 1.72 per cent, which is one of the lowest globally.
