New Delhi: India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 153 crore 70 lakh mark. Out of the total vaccination, more than 89 crore 40 lakh vaccine doses were administered as first dose, while 64 crore 11 lakh doses were given as second dose. Union Health Ministry said, more than 18 lakh 52 thousand Precaution Doses for the identified categories of beneficiaries for COVID vaccination have been administered so



far.

Over two crore 81 lakh vaccine doses have been given to Children aged 15 to 18 years so far. The Ministry also said, over 76 lakh 68 thousand Doses were administered till 7 PM yesterday. The vaccination exercise as a tool to protect the most vulnerable population groups in the country from COVID-19 continues to be regularly reviewed and monitored at the highest level.
