India's Covid vaccination coverage crosses 58 crore 82 lakh mark

New Delhi: India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 58 crore 82 lakh mark. The cumulative figure stood at 58 crore 82 lakh 21 thousand and 623 till 7 pm as per the provisional report yesterday. The Union Health Ministry said, of the total vaccination, more than 45 core 55 lakh vaccine doses have been administered as first dose and 13 crore 27 lakh vaccine doses given



as second doses.

 

The Ministry said, over 56 lakh vaccine doses were administered to the beneficiaries yesterday. It said, the vaccination exercise, as a tool to protect the most vulnerable population groups in the country from COVID-19, continues to be regularly reviewed and monitored at the highest level.
