Jammu & Kashmir: Coronavirus infected case gone up to 3,324

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the total number of positive cases of COVID-19 has gone up to 3,324 with 182 new Positive cases of Novel Corona virus reported yesterday.  Out of 182 new cases, 74 are reported from Jammu division and 108 from Kashmir division.

 

The total number of positive cases in Jammu division rose to 809 while that in case of Kashmir division to 2,515. Also, one more death reported yesterday from Kashmir division taking the toll of COVID-19 fatalities to 36 in the UT, 32 in Kashmir and four in Jammu division. Moreover, 38



more COVID-19 patients recovered and discharged from various hospitals, 16 from Jammu division and 22 from Kashmir division and the patients were discharged yesterday.

 

Out of 3,324 positive cases, 2202 are active positive, 629 in Jammu Division and 1,573 in Kashmir division. Furthermore, 1,086 patients have recovered so far, 176 in Jammu division and 910 in Kashmir division. The UT broke the 8,500 tests a day barrier and the positivity rate of stands at 4.9 per cent whereas the mortality rate stands at 1.4 per cent.
