In Jharkhand, seven deaths were reported in a single day, the biggest ever spike in the number of deaths in the state since the outbreak of Corona pandemic. A total of 31 people have died due to COVID19 in the state. With 91 new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours, the total cases has mounted to 3,771. With more than 850 cases of COVID19 positive cases detected in the state, the numbers have seen an upward trend in the last
week.
At the same time, the recovery rate has dropped to 61.20 percent, after 45 people were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries in the state to 2,308. The active caseload including those in COVID19 hospitals and isolation centres presently stands at 1432, whereas one lakh 80 thousand 439 samples have been tested so far.
