J&K Covid-19 cases rise to 1759

With 91 new cases reported yesterday, the toll of positive cases of Covid-19 zoomed to 1759 in the UT of J&K. Out of 91 new cases, 54 are reported from Jammu division and 37 from Kashmir division and now the toll of positive cases in Jammu division is 348 whereas, the toll of positive cases in Kashmir division has climbed to 1411. Also, 01 more death has been reported from Kashmir division thus taking the toll of Covid-19 fatalities to 24 in the UT.
 
Moreover,



24 more patients recovered and discharged from various hospitals, 15 from Jammu and 09 from Kashmir division. Out of 1759 positive cases, 902 are Active Positive, 833 have recovered and 24 have died.
 
Furthermore, the UT breaks the 8000 tests a day barrier as more than 8200 samples have been tested yesterday. The positivity rate stands at 4.9 percent whereas the Mortality rate of the UT stands at 1.8 percent.
