The UT of J&K yesterday recorded 450 fresh cases of COVID-19 pandemic taking the total number of positive cases to 19,869. 13 more deaths are reported due to COVID-19, 01 from Jammu and 12 from Kashmir division thus taking the number of people who died of the virus in the UT to 365 including 339 from Kashmir and 26 from Jammu division.
Further, with 450 new cases, the tally of positive cases in J&K has reached to 19, 869 including 15, 568 from Kashmir and 4301 from Jammu division. Among 450 new cases, 367 are reported from Kashmir while 83 are reported from Jammu
division.
The total number of positive cases in Kashmir division has reached to 15, 568 including 9417 recoveries and 339 deaths while the total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 4301 including 2425 recoveries and 26 deaths. Moreover, the total number of active cases in J&K are 7662 including 5812 from Kashmir division and 1850 from Jammu division. With 520 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in the UT has reached to 11, 842 which is 59.60 percent of the total cases which was over 63 percent a few days before.
