In Jammu and Kashmir, 35 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus were reported on Sunday taking the total number of positive cases in the Union Territory to 701.
Out of these, 287 have recovered so far whereas eight patients have fallen prey to COVID-19. From 26,038 tests available, 25,337 samples have tested negative till yesterday evening.
Moreover, the recovery percentage of the patients affected with coronavirus pandemic in Srinagar, Jammu and in the Union Territory as a whole are also gradually increasing with each passing day.
In Jammu and Kashmir, 35 fresh cases were reported on Sunday out of which one case was reported in Samba district whereas rest 34 cases were
reported from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, five districts in Jammu Division: Doda, Kishtwar, Udhampur, Poonch & Jammu and Ganderbal in Kashmir, are Corana-free.
31 patients also recovered on Sunday from Kashmir and two patients from Udhampur.
Meanwhile, the recovery percentage of patients in Jammu Division is 87 percent whereas in Kashmir Division, it is about 37.
The overall recovery percentage in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is 41 percent, which assumes colossal significance, in so far as the recovery percentage of the patients in Jammu and Kashmir is concerned.
