In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the biggest-ever surge in the positive cases were reported yesterday. 41 more covid patients have, however, recovered yesterday and discharged from various hospitals taking the total number of persons having recovered so far in Jammu and Kashmir to 1048.
Although, Government is tirelessly reaching-out to the people with the guidelines being issued from time-to-time but the onus and the adherence of administrative guidelines greatly lies on the implementation by the people at large that eventually would help to contain the spread of the pandemic.
The number of COVID cases in Jammu and Kashmir has climbed to 3,142 as Union Territory has witnessed the
biggest ever single day spike of 285 positive cases yesterday. Among these cases, the maximum number of 222 cases were reported from the Kashmir Division that has terrified the residents of Kashmir Valley. A sixty year old man from Noorbagh area of Srinagar has fallen prey to the pandemic thus taking the total number of fatalities to thirty-five in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the public at large has been advised to strictly follow the advisories issued by the Government from time-to-time and rely only on the information as released by the Government. It has also advised to refrain from spreading any rumours and not to pay any heed to them.
