Bengaluru: Karnataka has reported 107 new Omicron cases in last 24 hours as Covid cases continue to surge. The total Omicron cases in the state have now reached 333.
Karnataka recorded over 5,000 Covid cases over the last two days of which, 4,324 were reported from Bengaluru Urban alone. Meanwhile, the Karnataka Government has modified some of its Covid-19 orders for the weekend
curfew and has allowed colleges in Bengaluru Urban to hold offline classes.
Health Minister K Sudhakar had earlier indicated that third wave has begun in the state with Bengaluru being the epicentre of the outbreak.
The total number of active cases in the state are 30,22,603 and the fatality toll is 38,358.
