In Karnataka, 4120 new Covid-19 positive cases were reported yesterday, taking the total tally to 63,772. Among the new cases 2156 were reported from Bengaluru, 285 from Dakshina Kannada, 171 from Vijayapura, 135 from Chikbellapura and 134 from Udupi district.

A total number of 1290 patients were recovered from various hospitals and the total number of recovered patients has gone up to 23,065. The Karnataka State recovery rate stands at 36.1 percent. 91 people lost their lives and the total death toll increased to 1,331. 579 patients are in the ICU among them 332 patients were reported from Bengaluru.
