Karnataka reported 487 new cases of COVID-19 and three fatalities on Sunday, the Heath Department said. With this, the total number of infections rose to 9,42,518and the death toll to 12,236 so far, the department said. The day also saw 493 patients getting discharged after recovery.
Out of the 487 cases, 250 cases were
from urban Bengaluru alone. As of the evening of February 7, a total of 9,42,518 positive cases were confirmed and that included 12,236 deaths and 9,24,304 people getting discharged, the bulletin said.
Out of 5,959 active cases, 5,818 patients are in isolation at designated hospitals and are stable while 141 are in the ICU.
