Kerala confirms 15,692 new Covid-19 cases

Kochi: Kerala witnesses a slight dip in the covid figures  as it confirms 15692 new positive cases yesterday.  Over 89,722 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. 92 deaths were also confirmed due to Covid today, taking the death toll to  23,683. Bringing respite,  22,223 recoveries were also reported.  At present,  1,67,008  is the active caseload in the



state.

 

Meanwhile, State Health Minister Veena George informed that over 90 percent of people in the state have been administered with the first dose of covid vaccine. Moreover, in the coming days adequate measures will be stepped up to accelerate the covid vaccination drive throughout the state inorder to ensure 100 % vaccination for all.
