Kerala confirms 5080 new Covid-19 cases

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala witnessed a considerable dip in Covid 19 case figures as it confirmed 5080 new infection cases yesterday. In all the districts, there are only less than a thousand infected people. A total of 53,892 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
The test positivity rate is
9.42 percent at present. In all, 40 deaths were also confirmed due to COVID yesterday, taking the total death toll to 37,495 in the state. Bringing respite, 7,908 recoveries were also reported today. At present, the total number of active cases is 58,088 in the state.
