Kerala confirms 5,978 new Covid-19 cases

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala confirmed 5,978 new COVID-19 positive cases yesterday. A total of 66,165 samples were tested in the last 24 hour. In all, 56 deaths were confirmed due to COVID yesterday,

taking the total death toll to 38,737. Bringing respite, 5,094 recoveries were also reported yesterday. At present, 51,804 is the active caseload in the state.
