Kerala logs 4,972 new Coronavirus cases

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala witnessed a considerable dip in covid figures as it confirmed 4,972 new COVID positive cases yesterday. A total of 60,265 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

The test positivity rate is 8.25 percent at present. In

all, 57 deaths were also confirmed due to COVID taking the total death toll to 38,045. Bringing respite, 5,978 recoveries were also reported yesterday. At present, 52,710 is the active caseload in the state.
