Kerala logs 5,949 fresh COVID-19 cases

Kerala on Saturday reported 5,949 fresh cases of Covid-19, said Chief Minister pinarayi Vijayan.

The test positivity rate is at 9.97 percent. So far, 69,21,597 samples were tested in different priority groups.

32 deaths were confirmed in the state on Saturday by NIV Alappuzha. With this, the total number of coronavirus fatalities rose to 2,594. Out of the total number of positive cases, 83 people came from outside the state.
