Kerala records 1,242 new COVID-19 cases

The state recorded 1242 fresh Covid-19 cases  in the day of which, contact infections figured at 1081 including 91 cases whose source of virus remain  untraced and there were  11 deaths confirmed as from virus during the day, said Health Minister KK Shailaja.  With this,



the state-total for confirmed cases in the pandemic climbed to 57,746  and death tally to 234.  

Tally for today’s new infections includes  39 cases pertaining  to travelers from overseas, 88 incomers from states outside, 34 health workers.
