Kerala records 6,849 new Covid-19 cases

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala confirmed 6,849 new COVID-19 positive cases yesterday. In all the districts, there are only less than a thousand infected people. A total of 69,334 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate is 9.87 percent at

present.

In all, 61 deaths were also confirmed due to COVID yesterday, taking the total death toll to 36,475. Bringing respite, 6,046 recoveries were also reported yesterday. At present, 63,752 is the active caseload in the state.
