Kerala for the first time recorded over 3000 covid cases in a day, as 3082 positive cases were confirmed in the State yesterday.
Among the new cases 2844 persons contracted the disease through contact.2196 recoveries were also reported yesterday. The total active Covid cases in Kerala rose to 22, 676.10 more deaths due to Covid were also confirmed, taking the death toll in the State to 347.
Meanwhile the Kochi Metro will resume its service from today as part of
Unlock 4.0, under strict Covid protocol. The Kochi Metro Rail Limited has also temporarily slashed their ticket fares and announced a special time table for the first two days of its service.
Meanwhile heavy rain continues in Kerala on account of the depression formed in Arabian Sea. Met dept predicts heavy rain across the State for coming 5 days. Fisher folks are warned from venturing into the sea in Kerala Lakshadweep coast.
