Kerala reports 5,643 fresh Covid cases

In Kerala 5,643 fresh COVID cases were reported yesterday. 34 health workers were also tested positive. The active caseload of the State rose to 64,589.

Meanwhile, the death toll in the State became 2223, as 27 more

deaths were confirmed yesterday. A total of 49,775 samples were tested in the last 24 hours and the positivity rate became 11.34.

As on yesterday, there are 524 hotspots in the State.
