Kerala reports 9,258 new coronavirus cases

Kerala reports highest single Covid cases in a day so far, as 9258 new  Covid cases were confirmed today. 

4,092 recoveries were also reported today. 20 more deaths due to Covid were also  confirmed taking the death toll in the State to 791.

The



total active Covid cases in Kerala  rose to 

77,482.

Meanwhile as part of tightening the Covid -19 containment measures in the State, the ban on assembly of more than 5 persons will come into effect in the State from tomorrow morning and will remain in effect till Oct 31st.
