Kerala reports one more Covid death

Kerala has reported one more Covid death taking the toll in the state to 16. The 87-year-old deceased hailing from Thrissur succumbed to the disease  last night in Thrissur Medical College Hospital. 

Meanwhile, the Covid  case graph continues to rise  in Kerala taking the present active cases in the State to 1095.Kerala is launching extensive antibody testing across districts from today for



disease surveillance in the community and to determine if silent disease transmission is happening.

Meanwhile all State government offices including public sector and quasi-government entities will commence functioning in full strength from today except in containment zones. The religious institutions, malls etc are set to open in Kerala from tomorrow.
