Madhya Pradesh coronavirus tally rise to 4,173

In Madhya Pradesh, The number of people recovering from corona infection in the state has exceeded 50 percent of the total number of infected people.

With 187 persons testing positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the state, the overall tally rose to 4 thousand 173.

"At present, the state has 1 thousand 937 active cases, while 2 thousand and 4 patients have recovered from the infection so far.

The good sign is that, out of the total 884 patients in the capital Bhopal, 531 have been cured so far, which is remarkable 60 percent. Similarly, 45 percent of patients in Indore, 48



percent in Ujjain, 57 percent in Khargoan, 46 percent in Dhar and 48 percent patients in Khandwa have been cured so far. This is more than the national average.

On the other hand, the worst-affected district in Madhya Pradesh, Indore has reported 2 thousand 107 confirmed cases, after 91 persons were found positive till yesterday.  Ujjain now has 269, Jabalpur 147 and Khargone has 95 corona positive patients.

Of the total 232 deaths, Indore alone has reported 95 fatalities so far, while Bhopal recorded 35 and Ujjain recorded 45 deaths till date.
