Madhya Pradesh records 1,142 new Covid-19 cases

In Madhya Pradesh, the number of COVID-19 cases has reached around 49 thousand 493 after 1,142 new cases were reported in the state in the past 24 hours.

With 12 patients succumbing to the infection yesterday, the death toll in the state has risen to 1 thousand 171.

As per the state health bulletin, 1 thousand 65 coronavirus patients were discharged from the hospitals yesterday taking the number of recovered cases in the state to 37 thousand 540. There are now 10 thousand 782 active cases in Madhya

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh has ranked 16th according to a comparative status of active patients in the country. The state’s recovery rate has increased to 75.4 percent. In a district-wise review of Corona infection, the highest 189 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Indore district followed by 162 cases in Bhopal, 130 in Gwalior and 85 in Jabalpur.

The number of tests in MP has exceeded 20 thousand per day, at the same time, more than 11 lakh 12 thousand tests have been conducted in the state so far.
