Maharashtra adds 3,365 new COVID-19 cases, 23 deaths in past 24 hours

Maharashtra today reported 3,365 new cases of COVID-19 taking the cumulative total to 20,67,643. According to the State Health Department, 23 patients succumbed to the infection taking the tally to 51,552.

Of the 23 deaths, seven occurred in the last 48 hours and three in the last week. While the rest



13 deaths are from the period before last week. The case fatality rate in the state is 2.49 per cent.

As many as 3,105 patients were discharged during the last 24 hours upon their recovery. The recovery rate in the state stands at 95.7 per cent. The number of active cases in the state stands at 36,201.
