Maharashtra adds highest single-day rise with 27,126 new coronavirus cases

Maharashtra on Saturday reported 27,126 new coronavirus cases, the highest so far, including 13,588 recoveries and 92 deaths. The state currently has 24,49,147 total Covid-19 cases with 1,91,006 active ones, 22,03,553 recoveries



and 53,300 deaths.

India is once again witnessing a massive surge in coronavirus cases as it recorded 40,953 infections in the last 24 hours, highest so far since November, taking the total tally to 1,15,55,284 on Saturday.
