Maharashtra clocks 51,880 fresh COVID-19 cases, 891 deaths

Amid the rising cases of coronavirus pandemic, Maharashtra recorded as many as 51,880 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the total tally of infections in the state to

48,22,902.

As many as 65,934 patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the number of recovered patients to 38,68,976.

The number of active cases stands at 6,41,910.
