Maharashtra Health Minister RajeshTope has informed that the state government will provide PPE kits and masks to hospitals in the state under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Health Scheme.This has come as a big relief to the patients as the cost of PPE kits was incurred in their bills. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister has called for integrated COVID-19 treatment protocol in the state.
 
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has directed health officials to form an integrated COVID-19 treatment procedure by discussing Allopathy,



Homeopathy, Ayurveda and Unani medicine streams. Representatives of various medicine streams made a presentation in regard to Covid-19 treatment alternatives before the Chief Minister yesterday.
 
Mr Thackeray said that two sets of instructions can be formed for the state task force, which will issue them for public usage. According to Chief Minister's direction, prevention and treatment will be the two categories in which inputs from various treatment methods will be included.
