Maharashtra logs 18,067 new Coronavirus cases

Mumbai: Maharashtra on Wednesday reported 18,067 new COVID 19 cases. As many as 36,281 COVID patients discharged after full recovery today, taking the total number to 74,33,633. The recovery rate in the state is 95.87%. Yesterday, 79 COVID related deaths were reported in the state. Case fatality rate is the state is 1.84%. 

   

Out of 7,49,51,750 laboratory samples 77,53,548 have been tested positive about



10.34% for COVID until now. Currently 97,34,17 people are in home quarantine and 2,617 people are in institutional  quarantine.

     

Meanwhile, 113 patients with Omicron infection were reported yesterday in the state. Out of them, 109 have been reported by National Institute of Virology and four have been reported by B J Medical College.
