Maharashtra records 2,834 new Covid-19 cases

Mumbai: With 2834 new cases, Maharashtra’s total caseload of Coronavirus patients has increased to 18,99,352. According to the State’s public health department, 6053 patients were discharged yesterday, taking the number of total recoveries to 17,89,958.

With 55 fatalities, the death toll has risen to 48,801. The number of active



cases in Maharashtra stands at 59,469.

Maharashtra’s recovery rate stands at 94.24 per cent while the case fatality rate stands at 2.57 per cent.

Mumbai reported 463 new cases and 12 deaths yesterday. The number of active cases in the city stands at 7,754.
