Maharashtra records 4,313 new Covid-19 cases

Mumbai: Maharashtra on Friday reported 4313 new covid-19 cases taking the cumulative total to 64,77,987. According to the state public health department, 4360 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the total number of recoveries has reached 62,86,345. 92 patients succumbed to the infection taking the toll to



1,37,643.

The state now has 50,466 active cases. The recovery rate in the state is 97.04% while the case fatality rate is 2.12%.On the other hand, Mumbai registered 423 new cases today taking the overall caseload to 7,45,433. The city also reported 3 deaths and 329 recoveries. Presently, the city has 3845 active cases.
