Maharashtra records over 58,000 fresh Covid-19 cases, 301 deaths

Maharashtra has reported over 58,000 fresh cases of coronavirus and 301 deaths due to the virus on Friday. With the fresh jump of 58,993 cases on Friday, Maharashtra's active case tally has mounted to 5,34,603.

The 301 fresh deaths in the last 24 hours have taken state's case



fatality rate to 1.74 per cent.

At present, 26,95,065 people are in home quarantine in Maharashtra while 24,157 are in institutional quarantine.

Maharashtra on Wednesday reported its highest single-day jump in Covid-19 cases with 59,907 infections reported in the last 24 hours.
