After days of reporting an upsurge in daily Covid-19 infections, Maharashtra has reported a slight dip with 15,051 new cases of coronavirus on Monday, a day after registering over 16,000 cases, the highest of 2021, on Sunday.


The fresh 15,051 Covid-19 cases today have taken state's total caseload to 23,29,464,



including 1,30,547 active patients.


Maharashtra's tally of cured patients now stands at 21,44,743 after 10,671 patients were discharged today after full recovery. With this, state's recovery rate is 92.07 per cent. Meanwhile, 48 Covid-19 deaths were reported in the state today, taking the fatality rate to 2.27 per cent.
