Maharashtra reports 536 new Covid cases

Maharashtra recorded 536 new cases of coronavirus infections and zero pandemic-related fatalities yesterday. It is the highest one-day rise in cases since 3rd of March. The state health department said, the tally of active cases in Maharashtra has crossed the 2,500-mark. On 3rd March, the state had recorded 544 new



infections.

Mumbai alone recorded 351 new coronavirus cases yesterday. However, Sangli, Dhule, Jalna, Latur, Hingoli, Akola, Buldhana, Yavatmal and Gondia districts have zero active cases. As many as 329 COVID-19 patients recovered in last 24 hours. The recovery rate in the state stands at 98.09 percent.
