Maharashtra reports 6,388 new Covid-19 cases

Mumbai: Maharashtra yesterday recorded 6388 new cases of COVID-19, taking the state’s tally to 63,75,390. According to the state’s public health department, 8390 patients were discharged during the day, taking the total number of recovered patients to 61,75,010. With 208 fatalities, the death toll has risen to 1,34,572.

62,351.Maharashtra’s recovery rate stands at  96.86 percent while the case fatality rate stands at 2.11 percent. The state has so far conducted 5.03 crore corona virus tests and the positivity rate stands at 12.67 percent. Mumbai reported 281 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in Mumbai to 7,38,520. The city reported 242 recoveries and seven deaths yesterday.
