Maharashtra reports 7,539 new COVID-19 cases, 198 deaths

Maharashtra on Thursday reported 7,539 new COVID-19 cases. With this, the state's total tally now stands at 16,25,197.

The state continues to host 1.50 lakh active cases.

In

the past 24 hours, 16,177 were also discharged from hospitals after recovery, taking the total number of recovered patients to 14,31,856.

The state's death toll climbed to 42,831 after recording 198 new deaths.
