Mumbai: With 997 new cases, Maharashtra’s tally of COVID-19 infections has reached 66,21,420. According to the State’s Public Health Department, the state recorded 1,016 recoveries on Thursday, taking the total number of recovered patients to 64,64,948.
On the other hand, 28 people succumbed to the infection taking the death toll to 1,40,475. The number of active
cases in Maharashtra stands at 12,352.
Mumbai reported 276 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in Mumbai to 7,59,562. The city reported 176 recoveries and two deaths on Thursday.
At 3,627, Mumbai has the maximum number of active cases, followed by Pune, Thane and Ahmednagar.
