Manipur reports 11 new Covid-19 cases

In Manipur, eleven persons were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases during the past twenty four hours.  Meanwhile,  26 persons were discharged in the past twenty four hours in the state and the recovery rate stands at 98.08 per cent. 

So far, Manipur has recorded total recovered and discharged cases of 28,442 while the number of active cases is 186. The total number of positive cases is 28,997. The



total fatality due to the pandemic in the state till date is 369.

On the other hand, around 25 per cent of beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the first phase of vaccination in Manipur. As per report from the State Health Department, out of 9,989 targeted beneficiaries in the first phase, only 2,485 beneficiaries have been vaccinated with Covishield till yesterday.
