Meghalaya reports 27 new Covid-19 cases

With 27 new COVID 19 cases yesterday, the total number of active cases in Meghalaya has gone up to 81, while the State also registered nine recoveries.

Directorate of Health Services said that out of the new cases reported, seven are from East Khasi Hill, 15 from Ri Bhoi, two from East Jaintia Hills and three from West Jaintia Hills



districts.

The number of recovered cases has reached 13,593 so far while 147 people have died due to infection. The number of samples tested till date is 3,42,795 out of which 3,28,974 have tested negative.

So far, the number of confirmed COVID 19 cases stands at 13,821.
